About Us Links Bethany Health Care Center is one of nine ministries sponsored by the Sisters of The Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston are a Congregation of more than 450 religious women who minister through education, social service and healthcare in the Greater Boston area and beyond. They trace their roots from LePuy, France (1651) and ultimately to Boston, Massachusetts (1873) . The Sisters identify with the cries of a world stunned by violence and reopen communications in divided communities in search of shared values to empower individuals to seek common ground for the healing of humankind. The Massachusetts Aging Services Association (MassAging) is the only Massachusetts membership association representing the full continuum of not-for-profit providers of aging services. MassAging works to achieve a system of healthy, affordable, and ethical aging services for older persons in Massachusetts. The Division of Health Care Quality in collaboration with the Massachusetts Extended Care Federation, developed this tool (access to state survey results) to help consumers assess the quality of nursing homes. 2011 Bethany Health Care Center receives deficiency-free ratings from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Nursing homes are assessed for compliance with requirements in 5 categories: Administration, Nursing, Resident Rights, Kitchen/Food Service and Environments, and measured against over 500 Department of Public Health standards. |
