Nursing - Memory Impairment
Our self-contained, secure Memory Impairment Unit is fully-equipped to provide expert care and a fulfilled lifestyle. Relationships between residents and our dedicated staff foster a strong sense of belonging that promotes confidence and independence.
The unit's dedicated full-time Activities Director and staff are focused on keeping residents actively engaged by creating tailored activities geared toward promoting sensory stimulation and enhanced self esteem. All activities are offered in a variety of formats to meet the group's diverse needs. Residents enjoy music, exercise, games, cooking and craft activities.
Family and friends' participation is strongly encouraged and welcomed by staff. A strong team approach among nursing, activities and other staff members keeps residents engaged throughout the day and results in a truly positive culture.
