| | Bethany’s resident-oriented approach to healthcare correlates with its Model of Care Program and is tailored to provide the delivery of quality healthcare 24/7. Fundamental to the program is its “treat in place” modality of care which results in significantly reducing the numbers of acute hospitalizations for Bethany residents.
A comprehensive array of in-house medical services, in-service educational programs and a dynamic resident-oriented activities program enable Bethany’s committed staff to address the individual needs of each resident and ensure that each resident is able to live out their life to their fullest.

"I feel that by giving of myself, I am able to give back to Bethany what they and you have so bountifully given to me." Sister Frances Agnes Blake, CSJ
Sister Frances Agnes Blake, CSJ holds Masters Degrees in General Education (with a concentration in English), in Remedial Reading, and in Religious Education/Pastoral Ministry. She is a Resident of Bethany and also a Member of Bethany's Mission Advancement Team. The following is a letter she recently wrote:
"As I recall with happy memories the three phases of my ministries, each brought an exceptional opportunity for me to help make a difference in the lives of middle and high school
students and families. Perhaps my greatest fulfillment, in the second phase of my ministry as a reading specialist educating intellectually challenged students, came in witnessing students
transition from their negative self perceptions to one of promising potential. The concluding phase of my active ministry was as a Director of Religious Education serving the Archdiocese
of Boston and lastly in the Diocese of Burlington, Vermont. Teaching adults religious education and formation, while witnessing and experiencing their personal religious development, was an
extraordinary time in my ministry.
"Dealing with health issues, on December 7th, 2009, I was admitted to Bethany Health Care Center. In the process of adjusting to my new way of life at Bethany and motivated by a strong
desire to 'SHARE,' I discovered the Mission Advancement Office. I credit my involvement with Mission Advancement in helping me to transition from my active ministry to one of now
'SHARING' my talents. 'I feel that by giving of myself, I am able to give back to Bethany what they and you have so bountifully given to me.'
"May the God who shares so bountifully, send you His blessings for all you have done for me and
for our Bethany residents."
Sincerely,
Sister Frances Agnes Blake, CSJ

Bethany Resident Expresses Grateful Appreciation to Bethany Donors
Caring at the Heart of Bethany’s Delivery of Health Care
Last November, I arrived at Bethany Health Care Center almost helpless. I was
confined to a wheelchair. The loving and caring service of the nurses and all in the health
field here made me feel as though I was surrounded by angels. With the help of therapists,
I progressed to a rolling walker. All have been a great inspiration to me.
Bethany’s employees come from all parts of the world. The cultures, creeds, and languages
represented are wide and varied; yet, everyone appreciates the person of each other and
the unique contributions each one has to offer. I never cease to be
amazed at what can happen when the prevailing atmosphere is love.
Contributing to this atmosphere of love and making this institution a
powerhouse of prayer that reaches out to the community are the
Sisters and residents who today call Bethany home! When the breezes
blow and the trees brush against the blue skies and the sun is shining brightly, it feels like
the closest experience to heaven.
Praise and heartfelt thanksgiving to God for Sister Jacquelyn and her competent and
caring staff.
Sincerely,
Sister M. Gervasi Di Gregorio, CSJ
