Bethany Health Care Center is an award-winning long- and short-term skilled nursing facility and rehabilitation center in Framingham. A Sponsored Ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Boston, Bethany serves a community in need regardless of an individual’s socioeconomic or religious affiliation.

Mass is celebrated regularly in Bethany’s Chapel and closed-circuit broadcast of religious services and activities is available in resident rooms. Other amenities include a beauty salon, newly-remodeled resident dining room, housekeeping and laundry services, and library.

Memory Impairment

Our self-contained, secure Memory Impairment Unit is fully-equipped to provide expert care and a fulfilled lifestyle. Complete with its own dining and recreational rooms as well as a full time activities staff, it is one of the area’s most comprehensive programs.  Residents engage in tailored activities promoting sensory stimulation and enhanced self-esteem. Music, exercise, games, cooking, and crafts are all offered in a variety of formats to meet the group’s diverse needs.

Long-term Care

Around-the-clock skilled nursing delivers individualized treatments designed to support residents’ physical, emotional, psychosocial and spiritual needs.  Residents enjoy living in an engaged community, with therapeutic and social events including instructional exercise programs, games, outings, cooking and crafts, along with a wide range of sensory-stimulating activities, scheduled throughout each week.  Food and nutrition services staff provide individualized care for each resident in order to meet their specific nutritional needs.

Rehabilitation Services and Outpatient Clinic

Bethany provides on-site rehabilitative services six days a week with an approach that is empathetic to each resident’s condition and goals. Services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology.

Originally built as a hospital, Bethany maintains an on-site outpatient clinic that reduces the need for residents to take disruptive trips to off-site providers.  Separately licensed, the clinic meets all regulatory standards and gives residents convenient access to a wide range of medical treatments including, Dental care, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Optometry, Audiology and Rehabilitation.
