Jodi-Joy O’Keefe

Jodi-Joy O’Keefe joined Bethany Health Care Center in 2018 and serves as Chief Philanthropy Officer, overseeing fundraising strategy, donor engagement, grants, and major gifts to advance the organization’s mission. With 30 years of nonprofit experience across health care, education, public media, and youth services, she brings deep expertise in capital campaigns, board development, and philanthropy.

As founder of J3 Development Consulting, Jodi-Joy has advised a wide range of nonprofits on fundraising strategy and campaign success. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at the American Heart Association and worked in executive search, specializing in advancement recruitment.

Jodi-Joy holds a B.A. in Religious Studies and English Literature from Fairfield University. She has served on the board of Women in Development (WID) Greater Boston and is a member of the Nonprofit Consultants Network and the Alliance for Nonprofit Management.

For Jodi-Joy, philanthropy is a calling — she finds great purpose in connecting Bethany’s mission with people who want to make a difference.

Outside of work, family is her top priority. She enjoys cheering on her husband and children, volunteering, spending time with friends, and relaxing with a good book, knitting, or sewing.
