Bethany Receives Grant for Purchase of New Physical Therapy Equipment

Through a grant from the Agnes Lindsay Trust, Bethany Health Care Center has been able to purchase new High-Low Therapy Mat Tables to provide a safer treatment surface for Bethany’s physical therapy patients and caregivers.

“These new treatment tables are very well-suited for the needs of Bethany’s outpatient clinic, and for both clinicians and our patients,” notes Bethany Physical Therapist Danielle Westerman. “For the clinician, the table offers full-height adjustment and section mobility so patients can be placed in the proper position for maximum results with minimum effort. Equally as important, for our patients it provides easy access getting on and off the table, with customized positioning adjustments for maximum patient comfort during treatments.”

Updated equipment, such as the new therapy mat tables, is essential for Bethany’s Rehabilitation Department to continue delivering quality healthcare while utilizing evidence-based and best practice approaches. This new state-of-the-art equipment enhances Bethany’s safe and healing environment and further improves the physical and emotional well-being of Bethany residents.
